Welcome to the House of Friendship, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting cultural understanding, friendship, and unity through various programs and events. Our mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds can come together to learn, grow, and celebrate our shared humanity.
Join us as we:
* Celebrate diverse cultural traditions and holidays, including Nowruz, the Iranian New Year, as well as festivals, events, and ceremonies from other countries.
* Offer educational classes and workshops for all ages, such as computer skills, stock trading, language learning (English, Farsi, Russian, etc.), calligraphy, instruction in various musical instruments, cooking and baking workshops, painting for kids and adults, puppet and theater workshops for kids and teens, sports classes (ping pong, table tennis, etc.), and social media training (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram, GPT, etc.).
* Host family-friendly events and competitions that foster fun, learning, and connection.
* Collaborate with local businesses to provide valuable resources and insights to our community.

📌 What’s in the Video?
🎤 An insightful online talk by Salomeh Safaei on the connection between nutrition and emotional well-being. Salomeh shared practical tips on managing stress through a balanced diet—especially during times of transition.
🌍 This session welcomed non-Farsi-speaking attendees and featured live English translation by Ms. Charisa to ensure inclusive access to the nutrition segment.
🏘️ A detailed in-person presentation by Takin Mohebbi on urban zoning and the building permit process. Takin provided essential information to help newcomers understand housing regulations and actively engage in shaping their local neighborhoods.
The session concluded with a light lunch and time for community connection and conversation.

Join Our Online Art Competition – Prizes to be Won!
We are excited to announce an online competition for all artists! Anyone who is interested can participate by submitting their artwork to the competition. (Every artist has the opportunity to take part, and we invite everyone who is passionate about art to join us!)

Building Financial Literacy Event
We recently hosted a successful financial literacy workshop with Dr. Kazhal Sarsaifi. Click here to check out the event photos and materials.

On July 7th, we held our Summer Festival, which received a warm welcome from our beloved Iranian, Afghan, Vietnamese, American, and other community members. The festival featured live music, food sales and donations, group Daf playing, and much more.
